How to build a new windows version ?

Hello everybody

I wonder if one of you can give me a step by step guide how I can create a new version of the GD.
I am not a programmer but windows user and would like to get more often new releases of that program.
I am/was using Babylon for many years (still version 5) and there are many things I like to compaire to GD.

As the OCR detection within certain masks (new Firefox V4, Flash designed, etc) do not work, my thinking is that this has been already fixed in one of the versions available as a source.

The forum offers window builds but from the year 2010 and the latest version is now 1.01.

- Just downloading the QT package and installing will be the start
- Where do I get then the source (I go to http://gitorious.org/goldendict/ but then where is the package) ?
Do I have to use another software to downlad the package ?

Thank you for any answer which will help me to go further in this project.

Patrik

Nope. Just some bugfixes in scan dll's to prevent occasional crashes. You can take the latest libraries from that post (file Hooks.7z).

Just press "Commit log" button. Then on commits page look "Download master as tar.gz" button at right side.
Or you can use Git client as it wrote in the builging instructions.

Thank you for that fast answer.
I downloaded the "hooks" and replaced the original ones.
Well, the result is still the same.
So I look forward to the time it will work also on FF V4.x.

Thank you again for that fast answer and I wish you a nice weekend.
