Please , release the beta version of GD. Compiling from the source code is tedious and convoluted.
Others not that tech savvy can also help in finding bugs and suggestion.
PLEASE DO IT AT THE EARLIEST .

Good to see the newest beta versions of GD, but as I work with Linux, I would like to have deb package of it. Is it possible to download it somewhere?

Debian sid currently holds a snapshot from 6th of July, you can just use that if you're ok with a month-old version. The maintainer of the package is a member of this forum, his username is unera, you can try pinging him.
