hello there,
i like the program very much, really good work whoever did this, but there is one little thing:
whenever i want to copy text to clipboard, i get the popup with the word translation. i turned translate from clipboard off, still it popups. in some cases this even prevents the text to be copied into the clipboard at all. this is really annoying, especially since the rest is working flawless and it's a joy to use this piece of software.
any help welcome

It's Ctrl + C + C and not Ctrl + C. Check shortcuts: http://goldendict.org/wiki/index.php/Ho ... rtcut_keys)
You can change the shortcut to whatever you want going to Edit > Preferences > Hotkeys.

i don't know what happened or what i did, but it's gone now. scan works for almost all apps except the browsers. hope you guys figure this one out one day, really a very convenient tool. good luck
