Conjugation / declension support for russian?

Postby chrisdict » Sun Jun 10, 2012 3:20 am

Hi,

I'm interested in conjugation/declension support like in ABBY Lingvo.

For example, in russian, I type: шёл (past tense of go)

I would like it to automatically go to the word идти (infinitive), instead of getting "word not found".

I'm a developer, so I might be interested in adding this if it's not too much work, can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

You should enable Russian Morphology module (F3 -> Sources -> Morphology), check Russian Morphology, and then add the generated pseudo-dictionary to your group.

I checked, шел -> идти works.

This is great for my linux desktop! I assume I can just install hunspell-ru and that should work.

What about the android app? I don't see any such option there, which makes translating russian words time consuming.

Thanks for your help.

Yes, you have to copy them in the GoldenDict folder in your SD card: http://goldendict.mobi/dictionaries.php
