Hi,

FYI, I never use programs in my locale as translations are poor, and I'm used to English interface.

I downloaded latest snapshot for Windows, and when I started the program it has interface in my locale. I closed it and deleted locale subfolder from Goldendict folder. However it was not enough. I then found the settings [F4] and set interface language and help language to English and restarted, but that was not enough either.

How can I set Goldendict interface to English?

Where exactly is presented non-english interface?

The UI itself, dialogs, menus etc, and welcome screen page.

I just dont know where does it pull locale data, as I deleted "locale" folder, and there is nothing locale related in %appdata%\godendict

All localized strings are in .qm files in "locale" folder.

Thanks Abs62, but I dont have "locale" folder - I deleted it. These are folders in my Goldendict:

Also I dont have any *.qm files in Goldendict folder nor in any subfolder.

Unless they are packed inside Goldendict executable. But even then, why if does not accept interface language I set in settings [F4], which I changed to English.

No any localized strings should be inside GD executable. From where you take GD?

I just though it could be possible to be packed inside executable, in lack of other explanations
