Hello.
Great software.
I am willing to translate in a short time (one week?) GoldenDict into
a) Catalan ca_AD
b) Esperanto eo_XX

I visited github locale but did not find anythin to download. Where is the initial file with the strings to be translated?

There’s no initial file. Visit https://github.com/goldendict/goldendic ... dev/locale and download any .ts file (first click on the file name, then click on Raw on the page that opens). For example, download es_ES.ts. Rename it respectively (to, say, ca_AD.ts) and replace the existing translations (texts between <translation> and </translation> tags) with translations to the desired language.

Hi osos_osos,

I'm an official translator of GoldenDict and I want to update the translation of the Italian version.

I need a small help. Can you please give a me a link of the "Qt framework" for Windows that I can use it simply install and run?

I've installed the last FrameWork 5.6.x but when I try to compile GD I get a mistake "webkitwidgets".

For me there is no difference to install this version or an other version but simply I would not lose time in configuring so please give me a link of the right FrameWork o please list me what I must install.

Take Qt 5.5.1. QtWebkit module removed from Qt release since Qt 5.6.

Hi

this is the last Italian translation (I'm the official translation and I'm still on the translator list so please don't consider my Alias in this forum)

I don't know why but if I compile it with Qt 5.5.1 the main buttons OK, Apply, Cancel, Help, they are not translated but with official compiled version, they work.

Which QT version has been used for compiling GoldendDict ?
