CTRL+C+C or CTRL+Key (like any other program)

Hi all,

Scan Popup is not working with Firefox, thus it might not work for 90% of people, because the most words are looked up in a browser. Every other program I tested (Lingoes with doubleclick translation, Q-Translate, Leo Lion...) is solving this problem a little bit different when the mouse cursor is above a word in FF and the user hits CTRL-mouse button:

- emulate mouseclick (to select the word)
- save clipboard content
- emulate keystroke CTRL-C
- translate the clipboard content
- restore clipboard content
- emulate keystroke ESC (to deselect the word)

Sounds like much, but I think most of it is currently done by GoldenDict. So this might be easy to implement and it would work on 95% of all applications. Is this possible or are there any plans to implement such a automatic procedure (maybe just for back, if nothing else works)?

Greetz

Still GoldenDict Beta doesn't work with Firefox (most common browser in Germany and the browser being the most used program by any user). With described procedure above GoldenDict would work with almost any program. It would be really fantastic if there's at least an option for it.

Is this so complex to implement? Or are there other alternatives / reasons? Does anyone know more?
