GD as documentation browser?

Hi,

I am currently thinking of using GD also as browser for html based documentation. For that, it would be great if GD could work with the document indexes which can be generated by for example http://swish-e.org/ . Is that something what you think is in alignment with the idea of GD?

Is that somehow working already, ie. could an existing dictionary format used as an index? How much effort would it be to implement that?

regards,

drago

You could try StarDict and Dsl formats. StarDict is binary, but uses raw HTML for article representation, and Dsl is textual, but relies on a bbcode-like language rather than HTML.
