is there a file size limitation for GD ?
Posted: Sat Aug 06, 2011 4:55 pmI've converted a full-version offline wikipedia into stardict format from mdx but couldn't get it to work with GD! the size of this dict file is around 3.7GB after compressing it with dictzip. After GD having successfully indexed it, i can see the indexed keywords, but when i select a keyword, the program crashed instantly. the error messages: this apps has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. i have converted many other small sized dictionaries from mdx using the same method and all of them works perfectly. is it because GD inherently does't support large file? thank you in advance!
