Hi. I'm a newcomer to GD. I simply want to access an American English dictionary with lots of synonyms and antinonyms quickly from my word processor with some selected usage. I would prefer to load the dictionary on my computer for faster acess. Would you give me a step-by-step process to get what I want.

I had an old babylon file that worked just fine, but when I updated some programs, the babylon file must have been altered.

Example: I linked GD to thesaurus.com, which comes for a request. But only the site. Thesaurus .com does not look up the requested word.

There’s no special process. You simply put the dictionary file(s) into the directory specified in the settings (F3 → Sources → Files) and restart GD or make it rescan the dictionaries (F3 → Rescan now).
