GoldenDict doesnt work in firefox

GoldenDict doesn't react using the shortcut CTRL+ALT keys in Firefox 3.x and 4.x; just once in a session GD reacts and translate a word that is not the pointed by the cursor.
Even if GD works fine in PDF readers, does not in the embedded PDF pages in Firefox.
Same behavoiur in IE 7.

Sorry, I was testing another utility (not related to dictionaries) and I mistyped the program name.
I mean GoldenDict!

No problems here with GD 1.0.1/Firefox 3.6.15/Windows 7 when pressing Ctrl+Ins+Ins.

Iverified that:
- with Win xp/firefox 3.6.15 it is ok using Ctrl+Alt (I didn't find how to set Ctrl+Ins+Ins)
- the problem was related to firefox 4b12.

Hi gionapoli it happen to me to
Open Golden Dictionary and Press (F4) or Edit -->preferences new window will pop up
click on--->Scan popup and mark the last box which says win/Meta and OK and you are done good luck.

Idid'n find the "win/Meta" box in the Scan Popup tab. May be I have an old version (1.0.1 portable)?

OK, I believe you are right.
But your screenshot shows a quite different interface!
Which version are you using?
I'm using the "portable" version 1.0.1.
