It actually looks like those highlighted symbols are images. Could you check that those are actually displayed differently in the original software (Babylon, I presume)? There may be a problem with the original dictionary data itself.

Yes, these are images(I know, because when I want to copy that transcription, image-characters are excluded). I'll check, but I'm already 99.99% sure, it's not dictionary's fault.

Seems that I was wrong, same in Babylon. So, is this fixable?

This is to be fixed by the original authors of that .bgl file. This has nothing to do with neither Babylon nor GD programs themselves, as they merely display what is given to them.

I have problems with displaying some symbols of the phonetic alphabet on my Windows XP. I mainly use dsl format dictionaries but it seems that it doesn't depend on what kind of dictionary is installed. There were similar problems with the original Lingvo program shell, but the solution was simply in changing font. Here I can't find this option no matter how hard I try.
Any ideas how to fix it?
