The new EA Build 353's issue

Hi, Abs62,
The transition from the EA Build 333 to 353 brings the OED2 bgl file to the joy of avid GD users; unfortunately, all of a sudden, it invalidates some of those nice French original bgl's which were working fine under the previous Build 333.

I have just checked the problematic files which show 0 as the total of articles/words:

- All 7 Multidico files (Lar_Illico_Mult_citations.bgl, Lar_Illico_Mult_conjtables.bgl, Lar_Illico_Mult_definitions.bgl, Lar_Illico_Mult_difficultes.bgl, Lar_Illico_Mult_expressions.bgl, Lar_Illico_Mult_homonymes.bgl, Lar_Illico_Mult_synonymes.bgl);
- Harrap_s_Business_fran_ais_ang.bgl, Harrap_s_Business_English_Fren.bgl;
- Larousse_Compact_fran_ais_ital.bgl;
- Michaelis_Fr_Pr.bgl, Michaelis_Pr_Fr.bgl;
- Spanish Britannica_Spanish.bgl.

Thanks,
and best wishes

Try to replace zlib1.dll to one from EA Build 333.

Thank you for your prompt workaround. After forcing the files to reindex, everything works just fine.
Regards.

On Ubuntu Linux, 12.10 how can I come around this issue?

I really like goldendict and do not want to abandon it.
Please, advice.

Build GD from last sources from git. Or try last portable linux version.

It did work, indeed: I tried the portable version and it works, thank you very much!
Now I'm fighting with Cinnamon (Linux Mint 14) to make it show the Goldendict icon in the tray (it's a bug of Cinnamon).
If you have any hints, you're welcome.

Thank you very very much for your prompt and correct help!
