Hotkeys (Shortcut keys)

Hot keys in the program can be divided into local and global. Local works only when the main window is shown; global works in any situation, e.g. while working with another program.

Global shortcuts

Ctrl + C + C Translate the contents of a selected word, or of the clipboard, if no word is selected
Ctrl + Ins + Ins Same as Ctrl+C+C, but in older versions)

Note: Global keys may not be available in a fresh GNU / Linux distributions because of an error in X.Org server.

Local shortcuts

Main Window ESC focus on the Look-Up text-box
Main Window F2 Save current article
Main Window Ctrl + Q Quit and stop the application
Main Window Alt + F4 Close the main window (but remain running)
Main Window Ctrl + P Print current article

Note Once in the Main Window, just start writing a word, and the focus will move to the LOOK-UP box.
