Hotkeys (Shortcut keys)
Hot keys in the program can be divided into local and global. Local works only when the main window is shown; global works in any situation, e.g. while working with another program.
Global shortcuts
Ctrl + F11 + F11 | Display the main window |
Ctrl + C + C | Translate the contents of a selected word, or of the clipboard, if no word is selected |
Ctrl + Ins + Ins | Same as Ctrl+C+C, but in older versions) |
Note: Global keys may not be available in a fresh GNU / Linux distributions because of an error in X.Org server.
Local shortcuts

Popup | ESC | Close the popup window |
Popup | Up/Down | Navigation |
Main Window | ESC | focus on the Look-Up text-box |
Main Window | F2 | Save current article |
Main Window | Ctrl + Q | Quit and stop the application |
Main Window | Alt + F4 | Close the main window (but remain running) |
Main Window | Ctrl + P | Print current article |
Note Once in the Main Window, just start writing a word, and the focus will move to the LOOK-UP box.
