I installed GoldenDict on PC with Windows XP Home where I use CoolReader for reading ebooks. I see that dictionary works with docx and txt files, with Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer, for example. But it does not work in CoolReader and Google Chrome. Is it normal or this defect can be repaired? Any help will be appreciated.
Last version of CoolReader desktop uses Qt framework which in turn use Webkit as HTML/CSS engine. So I would assume you can see it as any other Webkit-based Web Browser (e.g. Chrome, Safari) that GoldenDict currently does not support for its scan popup functionality.
Just this week I accidently stumbled on coolreader. That is the best ebook reader out there. Way faster then the calibre reader. The only problem was goldendict not working with the scan popup. I use the ctrl+C+C instead. They also seem to have a single click select which makes it difficult to select part of word etc.
